Understanding Your Results

What to Check Daily (Takes 2 Minutes)

In your dashboard, look for:

  • Leads: How many people contacted you
  • Cost per lead: How much you paid for each person who contacted you
  • Campaign status: Make sure it shows "Active" (green light)

What Good Results Look Like

Cost per lead targets (what you should pay for each person who contacts you):

  • General dental cleanings/checkups: $10 is great, up to $25 is okay
  • Veneers: $15 is great, up to $25 is okay
  • Dental implants: $20 is great, up to $35 is okay

Lead quality: About 30% of people who contact you should book appointments

Key Numbers to Watch

Daily Metrics (Check Every Morning):

  1. New Leads: How many people contacted you yesterday
  2. Daily Spend: How much you spent (should be close to your budget)
  3. Cost Per Lead: Total spend ÷ number of leads
  4. Campaign Status: Green = good, Yellow = reviewing, Red = problem

Weekly Metrics (Check Every Monday):

  1. Total Leads This Week: Are you getting consistent contacts?
  2. Average Cost Per Lead: Is it within your target range?
  3. Appointment Bookings: How many leads became patients?
  4. Best Performing Ads: Which ones are getting the cheapest, highest-quality leads?

What the Numbers Mean

Good Signs:

  • Consistent daily leads: New contacts every day or two
  • Cost per lead in target range: See targets above
  • People booking appointments: About 1 in 3 leads should book
  • Stable spending: Using most of your daily budget

Warning Signs:

  • No leads for 2+ days: Something might be wrong
  • Cost per lead too high: You're paying too much for contacts
  • Leads not booking: People contacting you but not making appointments
  • Spending stopped: Budget ran out or ad was paused

Simple Tracking Method

Create a Weekly Scorecard:

Week of [Date]:

  • Total spent: $____
  • Total leads: ____
  • Cost per lead: $____
  • Appointments booked: ____
  • Best performing ad: ____

Monthly Review Questions:

  1. Are we profitable? (Revenue from new patients > ad spend)
  2. Are we getting quality leads? (30%+ booking appointments)
  3. Are costs reasonable? (Within target ranges above)
  4. Should we increase budget? (If everything above is "yes")

Red Flags - Take Action Immediately

Turn Off Ads If:

  • Cost per lead over targets for 2+ days (see targets above)
  • Zero leads for 48+ hours with normal spending
  • Poor lead quality (fake contacts, people outside your area)
  • Technical issues (website down, phone not working)

Contact Support If:

  • Numbers don't make sense (spending but no impressions)
  • Sudden performance drops (was working, now isn't)
  • Dashboard showing errors (can't load metrics)
  • Account issues (can't access ads manager)
