How to Update Application Settings

Updating your application settings can enhance your user experience. Here's how:

  1. Access Settings: Click on the "Settings" or "Preferences" option in the menu.
  2. Select My Team: Choose the team member/user you want to update settings for.
  3. Make Changes: Adjust the settings as per your needs, i.e. notifications, roles and permissions, etc.
  4. Save Changes: Click "Save" to confirm the changes.
  5. Reload: Have the user that was updated, log out and back into their BiteBot account to see changes take place.


How to Set Lead Notifications for Your Team

Purpose: Make sure no new leads go unnoticed.

Steps:

  1. Go to “Settings > My Team > Choose Team Member > Notification Settings”.

  2. Choose which conversation types trigger alerts (All, only contacts assigned to the user, etc.).

  3. Select preferred delivery method (email, SMS, in-app).

  4. Click “Save”.

Pro Tip: Use workflows to assign new leads and notify specific roles or teams.


*Note that all notifications in your BiteBot account, are specific to each user within the account itself - the are not set at a company level.
